Repose

Meticulously handcrafted both during Erin's JMGA residency at Arthur Boyd's Bundanon Trust, as well as in her Sydney studio, Repose is the physical embodiment of the sharing of time and space, of conversation and connection. It offers the opportunity to pause, breathe and appreciate.

Repose features a Teapot, Milk Jug, Sugar Bowl and Teaspoon, designed to draw upon the vertical facets of the Ametrines to create a mid-century style set. A brushed finish over the body of the pieces serves to highlight the polished  details of the gold bezel and the Ametrines, hand cut by Myrtle Stoneworks. Fitted with a Merbau handle and bases, the hardwood timber provides a strong, natural depth of colour in contrast to the precious metal elements.

This set may be required for a future exhibition in 2022 as the original in-person exhibition was postponed due to Covid-19. Exact dates are yet to be set, however the set would be required 2 weeks prior to the exhibition for any cleaning and refinishing.
